Packaging and Brand Development
An exercise in brand development, the ZEN brand emerged in our ideation sessions to create a product that focused on wellbeing, tranquility and stress relief. Based on comprehensive competitor analysis and customer segmentation this product was designed to appeal to a Gen-Z and millennial market. As a prototype I undertook packaging, logo design, copy writing and web development.
Our final packaging design is a plastic pouch ziplock bag with a matte finish. I wanted to use soft organic colour gradients, evoking a sense of calm and serenity. I worked on crafting colour palettes that worked with our flavour profiles of mixed berry with mint, lemon and chamomile and apple and cinnamon. Our website mockup also incorporates gradient colour palettes that work with natural shapes and ocean landscapes.
