About

Kittu Hoyne is currently studying a double degree at Sydney University in a Bachelor of Design (Interaction Design) and a Bachelor of Advanced Studies (Marketing). She is a Sydney University Dalyell Scholar, working across Design Creative Studio Lab and Business School. Alongside her artistic endeavours, Kittu is pursuing a career in property marketing, content creation and interaction design. Inspired by the intersection of creative technology, customer engagement and entrepreneurship, Kittu also draws upon her creative abilities and artistic technical skills in video and film, writing, music composition and performance to deliver compelling content and product innovation.

Academic Achievements

Kittu was awarded the 2021 HSC Premier’s Award, All Round Academic Achiever, Distinguished Honours and a ranking of 3rd in NSW for Visual Arts and received HSC Runner up Dux at MLC School.

Her work a Portrait in Frequency was exhibited at the Art Gallery of NSW as part of the 2022 Art Express. The work will also feature at Art Express VX and The Tweed Regional Gallery & Margaret Olley Art Centre. Kittu’s Design and Technology HSC Major Work was nominated for Shape at the PowerHouse Museum.

Kittu has just completed her Certified Digital Marketing Professional course with the Digital Marketing Institute.

Performance and Outreach

Kittu is trained in classical voice - specialising in the bel canto style. She was a junior principal artist with the Australian Opera, performing a full season of the “Magic Flute” at the Sydney Opera House.

Kittu is a founding member of the Toy Choir, an all female singing and songwriting ensemble. The Toy Choir participate in many outreach programs across regional Australia where they provide intensive ukulele and songwriting workshops.
